I received an email today from my friend Jose Campo, who is a very successful high school wrestling coach out in the San Diego area. Jose let me know that his father, Joe Campo, had passed away last night at the age of 85.
Longwood defeats Brentwood 31-17 in a League 1 contest.
Here’s the recorded video of the Longwood vs Brentwood dual meet on Wednesday, January 13 at Longwood. The meet began at the 130lbs weight class. Unfortunately, we had a technical glitch that we were unable to recover from in the middle of the 103lbs match. The video here includes matches from 130 through 215 and half of 103. Longwood wins 31 – 17.
On January 2nd, 13 ambitious teams from around New York State will make the trip to Union-Endicott to compete in New York’s most competitive dual meet tournament. Often the tournament champion is selected by the New York State Sports Writers Association (NYSSWA) as the number one team in the state. Though they use many events in their final selection, it is the keystone event in their analysis.
