  1. Vince, we will never forget how you were always there for our team, whether it was practice or matches you devoted so much of your time to us. We are thankful for everything you have done for the Hofstra program and you will be greatly missed. Hopefully we can make you proud at the NCAA’s next week. There will always be a seat for you at our practices

  2. Just learned of you passing today coach, and i want you to know that your influence on my life in has been one of the most powerful and positive experiences possible. The confidence that wrestling instilled in me over ’58-’66 became the basis of all of my success later in life. Thank you so much for the encouragement, disipline, and a good right hook at the Clinic much deserved, and later fondly remembered. Looking forward to seeing you again one day!!

  3. Vince Zuaro was my coach at Freeport and at Columbia. He is responsible for my love of physical fitness and wrestling. He gave me some fathering not available at home…whenever I let him. I got to brag on “Coach” Zuaro this past winter when I was helping start a new wrestling club at Evergreen State College.
