This is the first release of the Section XI individual; dual meet and tournament rankings.
For tournament team ranking, the attempt is to identify the outcome of the section XI tournament. As we’ve seen historically, performance at tournaments is uneven based on the size of the tournament. For example, teams winning the team standing at states often do not win smaller tournaments.

Hi-
You have the name “Pat Primeran” in the 103 rankings incorrectly spelled, the correct spelling of his last name is Primerano.
Thanks
Sean McCabe @ 112, not 119. Just beat the number 1 and 2 ranked kids at 112. I believe Corey Rasheed also going 112.
Updated for Sachem East Sean O’malley is wrestling at 45 now and Robert Seder is at 52, Seder also beat Gillen from Connetquot at the Massapequa Holiday tourn.
Thanks for the input guys. As you can imagine, this time of year is difficult for us to be timely with these rankings. They were actually completed earlier in the week b4 those results were had, and unfortunately, I only got around to posting them today.

The Hills east Holiday tournament is good input, but tournament rankings have to be about specific tournament. In 2009, Wantagh won NYS and Section 8 team titles. This is where they placed in the Massapequa tournament that season.

Tournament standings are comparing apples to oranges when comparing against different tournaments, so our tournament rank is for the section tournament only, but it’s not to say the point you make is irrelevant, it’s to say that it doesn’t shed a whole lot of light on what we may come to expect at the section tournament. Thanks for the input, though. It’s appreciated.
Isn’t Paul Baumann (West Babylong) 135 out for the season?
