It was a great weekend for the Big Red. We had a doubleheader on Saturday, starting with a 1 p.m. match at Hofstra, and then culminating in a 6 p.m. Ivy League faceoff at Columbia. Over the course of the day, our guys only gave up eight offensive points.

The Blue Waves originated in Riverhead. This has been the nick name of the school since it’s inception. John Glenn is not the Blue Wave and we out in Riverhead would ask for a correction.
Hi Jim, The Blue Wave is in reference to the John Glenn pee wee wrestling program. Their kid program is called Blue Wave. It was a clever way of highlighting his development from youth wrestler to college athlete.
