Broom County, NY – 5/8 thru 5/10

Jody Haas (Sayville, Class of 2010) sets the bar as Sayville WC brings home 12 All State Wrestlers from the NYS Freestyle & Greco Roman State Championships

The WC has their best NYS Greco Roman & Freestyle Tournament ever with 10 wrestlers earning All State Honors. Each of the 12 Wrestlers brought home a coveted NYS Championship Medal. This is at least twice the number of place winners the WC has ever compiled in previous years.

Jody Haas was the Most Outstanding Wrestler for the WC while making the state finals before being defeated by the #1 Ranked Wrestler in the USA, Kyle Dake of Section IV. Jody competed in the toughest weight class in the tournament in route to the tournament final.
