This is the semifinal round of Chris Edmonds’ championship campaign in the 1985 NCAA DI wrestling championships. Chris squared off against John Monaco of Montclaire state to win by decsion: 5-3. Next week will conclude this series when Lighthouse Wrestling will post his championship final victory over Pete Capone of Hofstra University.

It was a great weekend for the Big Red. We had a doubleheader on Saturday, starting with a 1 p.m. match at Hofstra, and then culminating in a 6 p.m. Ivy League faceoff at Columbia. Over the course of the day, our guys only gave up eight offensive points.
