On Friday, January 30, 2009, the Huntington Blue Devils ranked number eleven ( 11 ) by Matslap  visit the Hauppauge Eagles ranked number two ( 2 ) for a 6:00 P.M. showdown.

The question is can Huntington pull off the upset on the road ?. Hauppauge has shown overall depth throughout their line -up and will be hard to beat. The Blue Devils have some very talented wrestlers spread throughout the line up but can they match the Eagles?

One match that should be exciting is Damon McQueen vs Nick Mauriello. This match appears to favor Huntington as Mauriello is a true 96 pounder who is wrestling up. Another featured match will be Ken Collado ranked first at 112 pounds in Long Island and a returning State Champion versus Nigel McNeil who is currently ranked in the second slot.   

Hauppauge will be sending out Piscitello 135 lbs, Panebianco 145 lbs, Bonaventure 160 lbs, Chase Mendez 160 / 171 lbs, Dutton at 189 lbs and Eric Wooley at 215 lbs. Huntington will counter with Santiago at 130 lbs, Louis Puca, 160 lbs, Ryan Fox 171 lbs and Anthony Lupi at 171/189 lbs.
