before anybody goes nuts on the rankings there are 2 corrections that will be made tonight. At 119 Gomez will be ranked ahead of Brice since he just beat him. At 171 we will remove Ty Morrison since he is now ranked at 160 and replace him with another #6 ranked 171 pounder from our results spreadsheet.

    thanks, LHW Suffolk Rankings Team

    Julius Anglickas–215lb southampton—has not lost a tournament-winning against mostly div 1 schools!!!

louis puca has been wrestling at 160 all season he should be moved

  • madetopin14 says:

The kid berkowitz hasnt really had any tough matches i think 103 should be changed.

  • LIfan says:

I must have seen Puca at 152 to put him there but I will double check. Anglickas is D2 and we only place D1 wrestlers in these rankings…mainly because there is little crossover in competition between many D1 and D2 teams. For returning state placewinners we may need to make an exception. I will check with the webmaster on that. As for Berkowitz…who would you replace him with and I will take a look. But keep in mind he is ranked 6th…that is often a floating spot. It’s not like we have him ranked 2nd, 3rd or even 4th.

Actully if you look at Berkowitz’s record you will see he only lost to 2 ranked wrestlers. Both from Suffolk. His record as of today is 24-3 with 2 loses to Bass. Most of his matches have been against wrestlers that are trying to take the sixth spot. After next week it will not matter where your ranked.
