  1. ?? i made a post on the last rankings thinking that somethin would change…jones lost to another 96 a week and a half ago which means he shouldnt be ranked. he lost to a kid named mike fera from manhasset. it was at the wheatley invitational.

  2. Dan Sutherland from Mepham is 23-4 with three tournament wins. Hes ranked third on longislandwrestling.com. Something must be wrong with your rankings.

  3. sutherland from mepham is now 26-4 and won sprig southside and glenn cove. He should be ranked. Also madden from mepham is 21-6 and pinned laurie twice at 130.

  4. this ranking is very innacurate in comparison to long island wrestling assosciation. their are several division 2 people ranked on here, people at wrong ranks, unranked people who should definetly be ranked via upset. rankings are for fun but if ur gonna post them keep track of things and actually edit them because i have seen people ranked since the first rankings that have lost that are not going down.

  5. Hey Lighthouse wrestling quite a few things to say so here it goes,

96- shane saltzmen (VSN) is in D2, Wrestlers Panullo (East meadow) and M. Fera (Man) both beat Jones of (GC)

103- Pecora will not be wrestling at the counties this year. watchout for D. Grabher (NS) he’s been tearing it up lately, following in his brothers footsteps, a very stong kid.

112-no correction here but i doubt both seaford boys will be the same weight for counties..you may see fachhini at 119

119-falco over shmelzinger … he beat him last week

    125- nothing here

130- nothin to say, but i’m very interested to see what happens with the top 4 here

135-ligouri takes this one, but the match to watch could be dellacruz vs berry, also Carney (BJFK) has moved down to this weight

140-spurgeon is out for the season, and carney has been removed so this leaves a little room, i would watchout for Epps (Uniondale) and N.Fera (manhasset) both have been doing well lately, i saw fera win at a tournement a few weeks back and he looked good.

145-kaufman’s not here any more he moved up to 152

152-i’d replace Jermaine John with Kaufman here (returning all county is sure to do well), a side note**Chamish has been a beast this year.. i’ve seen him wreslte a few times and i’m very impressed, just watch out for Curcio’s crazy headlock’s and he’ll be fine.

160-I think grabher may be staying here posing a nice threat to Mullholland.

171-Jackson takes it here… he is massive at this weight should be able to handle Kavanagh

189- Loew wins, but i wouldn’t count anyone out this year could be a mix up in the other places

215- Horl has to fight here.. O’ brian (PW) and Hall (wantagh), have both been working very hard this season and they will be tough come counties

    285-another mixed weight
Joe Devonellis (North Shore) Paul Zbikowski(Island Trees) and Joe Grieci (Plainedge) all have good shots in my opinion. It’s really all whoever has the best day.

so there it is, just some comments/corrections at certain weights.. there havent been any rankings in a while and i felt i’d post a little something with my opinion. In the end the rankings really mean nothing, everyone has their day and rankings get disproved every year. Good luck to all the teams, coaches, and wrestlers have a great remainder of your season!!

  6. ripped really good post…idk how ur tied into section 8 but you knwo your stuff.. im impressed

the spurgeon and pecora stuff, are those facts or are you going by hear say like most?

  7. i saw Spurgeon earlier this week and confirmed he was injured, i also talked to a friend of the Pecora’s who told me that he is no longer on the team.

  8. Eberline.. congrats on the outstanding wrestler award and to all the Island Trees wrestlers who qualified this weekend..
Matty this IS the year! God luck to all.. duck
