Lighthouse Wrestling is the source for Long Island Wrestling News. As we all know, wrestling is an under-covered and under-appreciated sport for our local mainstream media sources. Our aim is to cover the local high school and college wrestling scene with interviews, rankings, in-depth coverage, live reporting, and results.
We can use your help too. There are so many good stories to tell, but as we are just starting up, we have limited ability to cover all the great stories. We’d like your help.
- If you are a student athlete and would like to write news stories about your wrestling team, we would love to post your stories.
- If you’re a parent and would like to write about your wrestler’s team, we would love to post your stories.
- If you’re a coach and would like to write about your team or anything about wrestling, we would love to post your stories.
- If you’re college wrestler from Long Island and would like to write about your college experiences, we would love to post your stories.
All that is required is for you to have a passion for the sport of wrestling, an interest in writing, and a desire to tell the great stories about Long Island Wrestling. Together we can tell our story in a way that only people with a passion for the sport can tell. This is an open book. If you have great stories from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and the millenium that you would like to share, we want to hear them. If you’re a coach or a trainor and would like to write about the latest in coaching and training techniques, please share your stories.
